Although I haven’t posted for seven months, I keep tinkering with the Deep Recovery products at night and on weekends whenever I can. I’ve been working on the demo videos for the Body Track and the Neck Track and wanted a way to do a professional looking intro with close-ups of the devices. Couldn’t find any inexpensive display tables on eBay or Craigslist so I decided to make my own. Fortunately, I had a couple motors left over from another project. This is a Vexta brushless motor from Oriental Motors powering this table with an in-line skate wheel mounted directly on the shaft.
I’m not completely thrilled with the result because the wood table top is not flat so there is some wobble in the rotation. If it’s visible in the video, I’ll have to get a glass tabletop to fix that. This took about 10 days to put together. As usual, the first iteration didn’t work out. I broke the driver on the first motor I used and had to start over with a new motor. That meant building a new mount which took a lot of time.
